They install properly but then the card will connect to my router, but lose the connection. I have tried using the drivers supplied on the disk that came with the card. But still cannot install the latest drivers properly. I have reformatted the computer twice (with no Anti Virus or any other software on it apart from Windows 7) in order to try and get the drivers to install, pressed F8 while windows 7 was starting to disable driver signature enforcement. To get round this I booted into safe mode and then tried to install them, but Windows informs me that the driver hasn’t installed properly. I tried downloading the latest drivers from TP-Links website however Windows 7 informs me that the drivers are not digitally signed. I have tried to install it in a Dell XPS 8300 with a Windows 7 64-bit operating system. Can you give these a shot and report back? The TP-LINK software just says "Please plug in a wireless network adapter." for win8.1 and tried to force an install on them, that changed the name to "TP-LINK something" for a few seconds and then reverted back to the former, the driver it wants to use is from 2006 and the one i tried to force an install of is from 2014.Īlso, the most funny thing is that the software that came with the card does not recognise it at all, but windows does since i can use it, but at a limited speed.
